The Westmont Special Events Corporation is led by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the direction and coordination of all WSEC events as well as partners with other community organizations to assist with other events.

It's been a really tough year as we've all had to struggle with COVID-19 and the resutling mitigation strategies. Westmont Special Events has been in contact with local, regional and state agencies to try and ensure that our events meet recommended guidelines. As we all know, these guidelines have evolved over time and are subject to change quickly. Following are some of the strategies that Westmont Special Events will employ during our summer events:

Westmont Special Events pays close attention to weather forecasts and while we never want to cancel an event, we sometimes need to in order to keep people safe. We have direct communication with the National Weather Service which provides us with expert analysis and updates when we make these decisions.
Once an event is cancelled, postponed, or updated due to weather, we do our best to communicate this information on our website, social media, and other means. We thank everyone for their understanding and patience in these circumstances.
