Waters was a famous blues musician, and was known as the "father of modern Chicago blues".
Some of his famous songs include "Trouble No More", "Forty Days and Forty Nights", and "Hoochie Coochie Man".
The band The Rolling Stones was named after the Muddy Waters song of the same name!
He won 6 Grammy Awards in the former category of Best Ethnic or Traditional Folk Recording.
He died in Westmont of heart failure, likely resulting from his cancer diagnosis.
